I AM HOME!

I HAVE MISSED YOU, MY DEARLY BELOVED ROOM! AND MY COMPUTER, AND MY BOOKS, AND MY MUSIC, AND MY LJ, AND I HAVE MISSED YOU GUYS!!! ♥♥♥
But, guys. Ireland? So, so, so amazing. Gorgeous. Beautiful. Enthralling. Hilarious. Frightening (yes, that too :P). Breathtaking. Just, everything, okay?

Okay. So, first I just want to say, that I've never been as much in need of a vacation as I was right before I left. And whoa, was it good! Because, guys; the thing with Ireland is, it's all so huge, you know? It's breathtaking. You lie there in the grass at 9 PM, with dirt all over you and a whole day's work behind you, and you watch the mountains and the endless fields of grass and greenness, and you hear the neighbour playing 'Danny Boy' on his fiddle for the cows, and everything that seemed so important back home just isn't anymore. It's awesome. (And it's SO inspiring! Omg!)

And then, also. I've learned that you can know a person for 10 years, and still find out new stuff after all that time. (Whoa, my friends are keeping me busy with revealing new sides of them, aren't they? :P) Like, for example, that you two really aren't, never was, and never will be, meant to be together 10 days, 24 hours of the day. Just, no. I mean, I love Aurora to the moon and back, but sometimes I just go GAHHHHHHHHHH. So, yeah. But we had fun, it was amazing, and here goes!

Day 1
...was spent mostly just looking at the farm; the fields and greenhouses, and then the dogs and cats, chickens, two pigs, three donkeys, and tons of sheep. And climbing at haybales! I was sure I was going to fall and die, but I didn't. Haha. :P And then we went for a walk on the beach with the dogs, and it was kind of foggy and really, really beautiful!
And the dogs, guys? They were two, Millie and Hollie. And they both had this thing with drooling in my hair and licking all over my face and pawing my T-shirt and all. But they were so adorable, so you just let them go on with it, haha. ;D
We stayed in this small attic room upstairs, with a winding roof and a really loud floor, and it was so great!!

Text message of the day:
Someone spoke to me in a thick Irish accent and I almost had an orgasm. And that was only on the airport! (To Jenny)

Day 2
We worked outside in the greenhouse all day, only pausing for the afternoon tea. (Can I just say how weird the thought of only afternoon tea is for a person who is used to eating a big lunch at 12-13 every day? Weird, I tell you!) In the evening, we sat in the old-fashioned kitchen, studying Psychology (for the damn test TOMORROW, WTF!), and then we got guests and Nicholas, the father on the farm, told us old Irish legends and stories in the candlelight while drinking tea. THE ATMOSPHERE! ♥

Text message of the day:
HAII MUM! Gerry Farm is pretty, and the dog drooled in my hair. I don't think the chickens like me. I ate this summer's first strawberry, yay! Ireland in general is pretty, let's come here sometime, yeah? Miss you all. xxx (To Mum)

Day 3
Planted onions, again; I burned my neck and my face. BUT I LOVE THE SUN OKAY? We had the radio with us outside, and they kept playing Girls Aloud's Can't Speak French, for some reason. :'D And we just danced along and the cows on the neighbouring field stared a bit weirdly at us, but hey. Whatever. :D And after the afternoon tea, we changed from our raggy, old working clothes to something a little more pretty and went to Wexford! And it was so adorable; Wexford is this kinda small town just by the ocean, and it smelled so good and the shops were adorable and I bought a red skirt which I love to death, haha.
After Wexford we went to feed the cows, and then we just played around with the 9-year old kid. He is so adorable, you guys, even though I could have just punched that pretty face of his a few times! (Gosh, 9-year olds can be annoying. :D) BUT HE'S SO SWEET ♥
Oh, and also? THE ACCENTS, GUYS, THE ACCENTS! I went all "OMGSWOON!" every time someone spoke to me. Haha. Bumbly, you were right. :P

Text message of the day:
YO! I have planted onions all day, yay. And Wexford is pretty!! I bought a really short skirt and mum's gonna kill me when she sees it! It's pretty. So are you. Love you! xxx (To Fanny, my oldest sister)

Day 4
The weather couldn't really decide if it was going to be really hot or just rainy, so it was both, pfft. We pulled weeds from the flowebeds all day, and minded the animals. Not a very active day, haha. And Liam, the kid, insisted on sitting and watching us (me and Aurora), and everytime we paused from our work he got out the water pistol and drenched us. Which was kind of nice when it was really hot outside! :P
We spent almost three hours in the morning just drinking tea and chatting with this gorgeous Irish woman, who told us lots of stuff about the farm and Ballygarrett and everything, yeah. It was great. ♥

Text message of the day:
I am wet down to my knickers! (And not in a good way, either! :P) (To Jenny)

Day 5
TERRIFYING, GUYS! TERRIFYING! Okay, so. Day 5 was the 'Sheep Day'. Basically, Nicholas told us to get the worst clothes we owned and get our arses into the car, 'cause we were going to get the sheep and bring them to the factory.
Now, for anyone who hasn't tried to get a group of 20-something sheep into a trailer for them to be packed away and be dog-food? DON'T TRY IT. I was so, so scared of them animals, you have no idea. Nicholas sent me up the empty main road, going all "Okay, Frida, you keep watch up there and just make sure that when they come running up to you - cause they will! - they don't get past you, okay?". I was like "...UM. Sure.", and then I stood there and just waited for them to appear and then suddenly I just heard a lot of shouting and suddenly a flock of sheep, maybe 26, came running head over heels straight in my direction. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN SCARED TOO, OKAY? :P
After two hours or something we finally managed to get all the sheep (except for four) into the truck, and then off we went to the factory. It was biodynamical, and ecological, and all, but, still. I'LL NEVER EAT LAMB AGAIN OKAY? Guhhh. *shrugs*
After leaving the sheep there we went for a quick visit to Gorey, and then we ate dinner and made homework. As usual. :D

Text message of the day:
DUDE! I've never been as terrified of animals before as I was of the sheep we herded today. No, seriously, I was petrified. I was absolutely sure they were going to kill me! (To Jenny)

Day 6
Worked at the farm, nothing exciting. Broke my <strike>old ancient</strike> camera, damn. :P I got to borrow Maarit's though!
I re-planted the tomato plants into bigger pots, and the fertilizer (read: chicken excrements) I had to put in there smelled. Like, bigtime smelled. Thank God my senses went all numb after a few minutes, haha. :D In the evening, we went to buy candy and then we watched Transformers with Liam (and it was surprisingly good, really!). :D

Text message of the day:
Mate. I am elbow-deep in chicken shit. (To Jenny)

Day 7
Final day of working at the farm!
We went to get the last remaining 4 sheep from the fields, and this was - again - terrifying. Because they kind of split up, so instead of running around in a group where everyone followed the leader, they just were all over the place. I remained at my old position a bit up the main road, and then came the one fatal moment when everyone else, including the dogs, were out on the field trying to catch the other sheep, and I stood alone in the middle of the road, staring at the single lamb before me. He was huge, and he had this kind of "Yah, just try and get me you gobshite, I know you're scared of me and I'm just planning on my best way to get past you and kick your ass BWHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA"-look in his eyes, you know? I was absolutely terrified of him, guys. :P But somehow I managed to get him down the road, and after a 15-minute struggle/fight we got the rest of them into the truck. YAY!
Then in the evening, Minna and Declan came to pick us up, and take us to Wicklow, about 40 km from Dublin.
And Wicklow is so, so pretty, you guys? It's a kind of small town, really cute, with pretty houses and small shops and all, you know the stuff. That first night we went bowling - Minna, Declan and Aurora all kicked my arse so bad it's not even pretty - and then I discovered the miracle with Declan's TV! :P Let me explain. I don't own a TV, okay? My TV watching is from DVD boxes or from the digibox in the main computer, which has a will of its own and often decides not to work. So, when I'm faced with a 37'' flatscreen wall-TV with all the channels I love, I get kind of happy. Kind of REALLY happy. Kind of sitting cross-legged on the bed in my checked pyjama pants and an old T-shirt, clutching a Coke glass in one hand and the remote in the other, and just gawping at the Kerrang!tv and Dave and stuff for hours. We don't have that here up north, okay? And I LOVED IT, hahaha. :P And then every night (the three nights we were there), me and Aurora would lie there until 1 AM or something, watching old reruns of Sex and the City, until one of us fell asleep. It was lovely, let me tell you! ♥

Text message of the day:
FUCK!! More sheep!! (To Jenny)

Day 8
DUBLIN! Or, well, first we went to Dundrum, to the shopping centre (second biggest in all of Europe; YAY!), and after that we went into Dublin. I went kind of mad in the HMV, and ended up walking out with the new Brigade, the new Elliot Minor, the old Fall Out Boy, the new Snow Patrol, and an old Oasis. I had a really really tough time deciding on the last one, 'cause there was the new Killers, and Boy Kill Boy, and PJ Harvey, and R.E.M, and all these amazing CDs that you don't get nowhere in Finland, but then I finally settled for Oasis. \o/ After that I went mad in the bookstore! :P I bought a few Marian Keyes', the sequel to Wicked! the book, Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld, and Bill Bryson's Shakespeare. W00t! :D After that, we just walked around town, gawping at the sights and Temple Bar and the Book of Kells (BLOODY AMAZING), and yah, it was all so pretty, guys.
But, also; I kind of lost my memory card to the camera. I think. I'm not 100% sure. But I think I might have dropped it somewhere between Grafton Street and Temple Bar? And that kind of sucks. Because that's all my pictures gone bye-bye, except for the few ones on the second memory card. I'll try and get those in here as soon as possible!
So, anyway, we then went home to Wicklow and made food and watched Never Mind The Buzzoccks and Top Gear and more Kerrang!tv, and it was awesome! :P

Text message of the day:
I have died and gone to shopping heaven. (To Jenny)

Day 9
Last day in Ireland! We drove down to Ballygarret to pick up Maarit, and then we drove back up to Dublin and tried to find the Botanical Gardens. During the car ride, Declan put on the older The Rasmus CD and we sang along really loudly and it was great fun!
Then we found the Botanical Gardens, strolled around a while, and then we went back into Dublin again. I bought candy for my family, because they are suckers for all sorts of abroad-sweets, and then we went home again. Nah; we drove via Wicklow Centre and bought Fish&Chips! It was yum, I don't understand what people are talking about when they say they don't like it. :P We packed our bags and watched more Kerrang!tv (yes, I was addicted and yes, I loved it) and Sex and the City, and then we fell asleep. Haha.

And today the alarm clock rang at 4 AM and we got up and drove to the airport and flied home and I wore my new skirt and realized it's kind of short, and when you walk from the airport into the plane it's kind of windy, so I had to hold on to it to prevent it from flying up all the time. It must have looked pretty damn hilarious, I'm guessing. :D And anyway, then we got on a train to Helsinki, and now I'm home, and it's late, and I'm guessing there are about 7655632580712998 new updates on my FP, so I'll run off and check that, now. :P
But if you made it all the way down here, congrats and much love. I'm so tired I can't be bothered with re-reading it and checking for mistakes, so basically it's just a bunch of rambling, haha. Just tell me if there are any mistakes or if it's boring or whatever. I'll try and change it tomorrow, haha. :P

Love to you all! ♥
Okay, I have two things to freak out about right now. Oh, no, wait, three. :D Here goes:

1) I MISSED YOU MY FELLOW LJ:ERS! I REALLY DID! MUCH!! OMG!! *hugs everybody*
2) LONDON, a.k.a the-friggin-best-place-on-the-whole-damn-earth-!!!!!, was A M A Z I N G. Totally unbelievably freaking amazing. I'll put the whole story under the cut, since I don't want to clog up your entire Friends page with my ramblings, which tend to get quite long. (Oh, you noticed? I thought I noticed you noticed. :P)
3) OMFG. OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG. Remember when I told you all about the Simple Plan gig I'm going to? WELL, GUESS WHO'S THE SUPPORTING BAND? Sodding ELLIOT MINOR, that is!! Also known as one of MY FECKING FAVOURITE BANDS EVER! OMG!!!!

Okay. First night when we arrived there - I kinda <strike>VERY VERY</strike> blatantly flirted with this gorgeous English guy on the plane. I kept bumping into him and then we were eye-fucking most of the time. Ha ha. And he came and talked to me while I was waiting for my bag! YAYYAYY! Wasn't going to London though, which made me very sad. : (
We arrived in London at about 2 AM, which is 4 AM in Finland, and we were kinda tired and yeah. Freaked out. : D Chris, our insanely good-looking and really, really nice host, my friends grandmas sisters grandson or whatever, came and picked us up. He lives in a top-floor apartment in Battersea, which is VERY nice. We just didn't see it that much when we arrived there, we just fell asleep. : D The next morning we saw the whole place though; nice! Then we had to go breakfast-hunting though, because Chris' fridge held about 15 bottles of wine, 2 chocolate cakes and some take-away fish'n'chips. Yum. We didn't find any cafe though, so we just went to Tesco's to buy some pineapple juice and Belgian chocolate chip cookies. Best breakfast ever! :P ha ha. That day we saw Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, and lots of nice shops on Oxford Street. I bought the McFly Greatest Hits cd and DVD, + Simple Plan's new CD for 8 bucks! YAY! That night, we stayed in with Chris, watching a movie and drinking tea. I love a country where people aren't going on about that bloody coffee all the time, but can enjoy TEA instead! Tea is bloody delicious! This is just one of the reasons I've now definitely decided I'm moving to the UK; tea. Yum.

Ha ha. Yeah. The next day, after a breakfast consisting of tea and pancakes - WITH BLOODY ICECREAM AND CHOCOLATE SAUCE ON THEM!! -, we went to see the Tower, which was nice. We bought a big tub of Ben&Jerry's and ate it sitting in the sunshine. LOVE. It was amazing. : D Then we went to Hyde Park and Harrod's, from where I bought the new Bliss! magazine because of the McFly valentine's cards. Then I giggled the whole tube ride back to Oxford Street. Oh, yeah, about that; EVERYONE WHO SAYS THE LONDON TUBE IS HARD TO USE IS TALKING BULLSHIT. It's easy as hell! There are bloody signs everywhere! I loved it. :P
Ooh. After Harrod's, we went to the Zavvi on Oxford Street, BECAUSE PLAIN WHITE T'S HAD A FREE GIG THERE! They were awesome!! Hihihihihiii. : D And then we got their autographs! Me and my friend went up to Tom Higgenson and were just "Hey! When are you guys coming to Finland?" and he looked really confused and went all "To WHERE?" Ha ha. Argh. I live in a forgotten country. People don't even know where it is! : D Yeeeeah. Anyway. It was great. After that, we went to the Royal Opera House and saw Sylvia, a ballet, which was really beautiful by the way. Whoaa. Then we took a cab (YAY! BLACK CAB! :PP) home, and sat listening to Chris and Ashley, Chris' flatmate, telling us about what had happened at their work that day. Ash is a solicitor, so he had some quite entertaining stories to tell! ; ) They are very nice boys, both of them. : D Then we watched Never Mind The Buzzcocks and I was laughing my head off! Another reason for me moving there: Their TV programmes are SO MUCH BETTER than ours. Srsly. : DD

The third day we went to Camden Town. The gorgeous guy at the airport had adviced me to go there, and who was I to protest? I FRIGGIN' LOVED CAMDEN TOWN!! I bought three T-shirts; a green with Yoda, a grey with Ghostbusters!, and a white one which is very hard to explain. But it's cool anyway. : D And then we went to Starbucks, the cutest and most awesome and best Starbucks I've ever been to! Their hot chocolate was delicious and the place was awesome; a small, white house right beside the river. Omg I loved it. : D We also went to King's Cross to be tourist cliches and take a picture by the Platform 9 3/4. Of course! ;D
Then we went shopping again, AND THEN WE WENT TO SEE WICKED!! And omg. I've seen lots of musicals in my life - and I mean LOTS, since I love them with a weird unstoppable passion - but Wicked! was just. Gah. Amazing. Insanely good. WHOAH. And I bought the hoodie (and was all "OMFGOMFG! I HAVE THE SAME HOODIE AS TOM! OMFG!" Ha ha. No, I wasn't, really. Only almost. :P) And then we waited by the stage door and got the autographs, which was bloody amazing!! YAYAYAY! Friggin' one of the best days in my life.

On the last day, we packed our bags - with some difficulties, since we'd been shopping like mad! - and left them at Victoria Station. Then we went to Chinatown, where we picked up some takeaway Chinese (which we'd eaten EVERY DAY! But it's delicious, so it's okay really. :P) and then Ben&Jerry's again, for dessert. AND THEN WE HAD TO GO HOME. AND IT WAS SAD!!!! It even started raining during the bus ride to Stansted. Uhu. : ( But I'm definitely going back there, preferably in a month when my sister's going, but I have to get the money from somewhere. Haha. : D

Oh, yeah, and I'm DEFINITELY moving there immediately when I'm finished with school. D E F I N I T E L Y. I loved it too much. GAH. <3

Ookay, finished! YAY! Now I'm off to bed, since I've got to go to school again in about 6 hours. DAMN. Besides, I have a cold, so it's gonna be all peaches and rainbows and pink fluffy clouds. NOT. Urrgh. But I'll listen to some McFly and it will all be good again! ^^ (Oh, yeah; I also bought a giant MITO poster which is now hanging opposite my bed. YAY. Now I can fall asleep staring at the boys. Oh, sweet life!)

Yeah, so. Night, lots of love to you all! <3

Ooh. It's warmer today. It was +2 when I went outside! YAY! \o/

I went bowling with my dad and little brother today. It was fun, haha. I love bowling.
The first game was won by my dad, he had about 100 points more than me and my brother, AND THEN I WON THE SECOND GAME! YAY! <strike>And then I lost the third one so bad I can't even write it here without striking it out. It was BAD.</strike>

And now I'm just nervous.

Oh, yeah, the reason I'm really writing this;
I'M LEAVING IN HALF AN HOUR! Gonna pick my friend up, and then we're heading to Tampere, from where the flight leaves. We'll be in London at 4 AM or something. Ha ha.
And being the <strike>geek</strike> lovely person I am, I'm gonna chase down some Internet cafés there and try and scribble something down here. Just because it's fun. :D

Yeahwell, I love you all very much. Hugs and kisses for all of you!<3
